Carpentry online workshop: Introduction to Conda
Author: Vigdis Guldseth
This workshop is for researchers who want to learn more about use of Conda as a development tool for building and sharing project specific software environments that facilitate reproducible (data) science workflows.
The event is a pilot workshop based on a lesson in the Carpentry Incubator: Introduction to Conda for (Data) Scientists. It is in particular recommended to Python users, as well as to graduate students or researchers writing codes as a part of the research work or in need of running codes written by others.
The workshop is a great opportunity to have common understandings and skills within a research group. Therefore, if you know about or have experiences with Conda, you are welcome to join the workshop as exercise leader.
The workshop takes place 8 January 2021, 9:00 AM–12:30 PM
The venue is online via Zoom. The instructors will provide you with the information you will need to connect to the meeting.
